WHO ARE WE?

The Ark Animal Hospital is “Your Pet’s Vet”

The Ark Vet is fully equipped with lots of friendly staff — but we will always treat you and your pet as individuals. We also provide wildlife vet care. We cover the Palmerston / wider Darwin area of the Northern Territory.

Our veterinarians, vet nurses, and admin staff are welcoming, kind and appropriately qualified. Our range of veterinary services is second to none. We have free (and accessible) parking on site and are conveniently located off Temple Terrace close to Palmerston Shopping Centre.

You won’t find a vet who knows more and cares more than we do!

Drop in and say hello, have a look at our range of pet products, and ask any questions you have, we're always happy to do our best to help you and your pet, regardless of the species or need.

Did you know we offer?

Puppy Preschool

Puppy Preschool gives you and your puppy the opportunity to learn and socialise together in a safe and controlled environment.

Here at The Ark Animal Hospitals’ Puppy Pre-school we aim to teach you responsible pet ownership in terms of health and nutrition, how to understand canine behaviour and apply realistic expectations and training methods. Classes are run by experienced and qualified veterinary nurses.

Did you know we offer?

Wildlife Care (Ark Aid)

Our charity Ark Aid (as seen on TV’s Outback Wildlife Rescue) provides FREE emergency treatment and care for sick & injured native Australian wildlife.

Unfortunately we are unable to come to you to collect injured wildlife. We can however advise you on the best way to capture and transport an injured animal or bird to our hospital for treatment. We provide 24 hr on-call emergency service for native wildlife.

Remote Community Pet Programs

The Ark Vet provides high quality, culturally sensitive & empathic Aboriginal community animal health programs in partnership with AMRRIC and local community leaders.
